What is the adidas Sydney:10?
The adidas Sydney:10 is a 10km run around Sydney's Olympic Park, with supporting 5km and 2.5km events. Conducted by Athletics NSW, the event is entering its fourth year on a flat, fast and accurate course.
Who Competes?
Athletes from 10-80 years of age will compete on Saturday, 4 June. These include elite athletes running under 30 minutes for 10km, right through to athletes completing the course in over 60 minutes. It truly is an event for athletes of all ages and standards and the course is perfect for athletes trying to record that elusive personal best.
For younger runners or those not confident in completing the 10km distance, a 5km is also offered. The day also incorporates the NSW Road Championships across age groups ranging from under 12 up to 65+.
What time?
Registration commences at 6:15am - with the last event completed by 10:15am. An event timetable is available here.
Where?
The start and finish line are based near Cathy Freeman Park, in the centre of the Sydney Olympic Park Precinct, with the loop course running around some of the most prominent roads Sydney Olympic Park. A course map is available here.
Entry?
Entry is available online at a discount rate. On the day entries are accepted but will incur a higher fee.
